21.02.2011 - Trade-System 4.0 appears

The more than a decade at the market existing and multiple established webshopsystem Trade-System from Irmler IT-Solutions goes into round 4 - Trade-System 4.0 is appeared! Highest flexibility, easy usage, high security und high performance were already for the first version of Trade-System, in the end of the ninetees, a must for the manufacturer. Version 4 exceeds all present standards of the powerful webshop systems now once more enormous. An especial strongness of Trade-System has ever been, that there are not just integrated new functions - new functionalities and technologies must bring advantages for the users, just then they can go into series. This is why the base of Trade-System stays slight, with high performance, stable and secure. Over the years there have been established more than 2.000 modules, which can be adapted very flexible, exactly to the requirements of the webshop owners, usual through just little engagements, so with just little costs.

What is new in version 4?

The bigger part of all functions have been integrated already into Version 3, by and by. But Trade-System 4 offers a lot of additional advantages to the webshop owners:

HTML5

The frontend of Trade-System supports HTML5. HTML5 isn't completely supported by all webbrowsers in the moment, but through backward compatible programming, Trade-System 4 runs also in all current browsers which support just HTML4. HTML5 offers an advantage in the performance of the HTML-parsing. But this is not all. Different browsers interpret HTML5 similarly, so that there is no longer need for CSS-switches. This is why the duration of programming and so also the costs for adapting decline with Trade-System 4.

One more faster

But not just HTML5 is responsible for the higher speed in Trade-System 4. A revision and optimisation of the programm- and database architecture makes it possible to process still more data records in one more shorter time. Combination with other products

Tade-System 3 already supported to operate more different systems of Irmler IT-Solutions inside the same administration area. Trade-System 4 makes an additional step - different products of Irmler IT-Solutions can now also be operated inside the same frontend. So it's for example possible to offer online courses over Trade-System, to process them with teachNOW online (as module inside the same system) and to handle reclamations or customer questions with Support-System ticketsystem - everything inside one common online appearance.

With Trade-System 3 it was already possible for Irmler IT-Solutions, and this independend to the size of the project, to offer individualized webshop systems to amazing attractive prices. The revised programm architecture of Trade-System 4 occures still more structured sourcecodes, so that adaptions get easier and can be finished faster. This is why adaptions get cheaper than it was already possible in the past. In other words: Individualisation gets one more cheaper for the webshop operators with Trade-System 4.

Flexible 3-tier-model

Adaptions, which can be done unrestrained, is the best what can be offered to an webshop owner and his customers, because with this concept exist absolutely no limitations. This is the reason why Irmler IT-Solutions holds onto the for years approved 3-tier-model also for version 4. A 3-tier-model means, that there is an isolation between the 3 tiers data, layout and programm logic. The data, in form of texts and pictures, can be edited by the webshop owner inside an administration area or they are imported from an external system (e.g. ERP). The layout can be integrated by the webdesigner with HTML/CSS and all the programm logic, flows and data allocation and treatment are defined by the PHP-programmer inside the third tier - the program logic. The 3-tier-model from Trade-System occures unlimited possibilities in all areas!

Complete support for smartphones (iPhone, Android, etc.)

Trade-System 4 supports already up from Version "Light" - without any additional modules - the complete and unrestrained purchase with a mobile phone. Also the administration area can be managed with a smartphone easy from on the way.

Is it necessary to upgrade from Trade-System 3 to version 4?

Trade-System 3 was already a really flexible and mighty webshop system, so that it will be necessary to upgrade just in exceptional cases.
